Whalen Residence

Timothy Whalen was born in County Kilkenny, Ireland in 1827. He settled in Chicago by 1856 where he married his second wife, Catherine Markey (born in Ireland in 1838). the couple lived near Chestnut St. and Franklin St.

Timothy died 7 October 1894 and Catherine died 5 June 1920. They are both buried in Calvary Cemetery, Evanston, Illinois.
