Sutter Residence

Johann Jacob Sutter was born in Erlenbach, Kandel, Pfalz., Bavaria on 29 September 1811. He married Barbara Kindlimann in Erlenback on 20 August 1833. Barbara was born 25 June 1811 in Bischofszell, Switzerland. Johann and Barbara settled in Cook County around 1850. Johann died 17 January 1892 and is buried in Wunders Cemetery. Barbara's date of death and place of burial are unknown.
