Smith Residence

Ezekiel Smith was born in Cherry Valley, Otsego County, New York in 1808. He and his wife Altana moved to Chicago prior to 1867, and lived at what was then 21 N. Morgan Street (now the 100 block of North Morgan Street). He died in 1872 and is buried at Rosehill Cemetery along with his wife who died in 1889.
