Poths Residence

Jacob Poths was born 18 December 1826 in Hennethal, Nassau, Germany. In 1848 he married Philippine Pfeiffer on board a ship coming to the United States. Philippine was born 4 May 1831 in Frankfurt Germany. By 1859, the family was living at 191 S. Wells St. (now 123 S. Wells).

Jacob died 3 March 1895 and Philippine died 2 November 1907. They are both buried in Graceland Cemetery in Chicago.
