Porm Residence

Johann (John) Porm was born in Germany in 1828. In 1860 he and his wife Maria lived in Blue Island  Illinois. By 1874  the Porms had moved to 712 W. 19th Street (now 1751 W. 19th Street) in Chicago  and Mr. Porm worked as a milkman. The Porms and their two children remained at the 19th Street residence until Mr. Porm's death in 1897. His wife died the following year. They are buried at Concordia Cemetery in Forest Park  Illinois.
