Charleston Residence

Charles Charleston was born in Sweden in 1816. By 1857 he was living in Chicago where he was a fire-fighter. Charles and his wife Catherine had 8 children. According to the Chicago City Directory for 1866, the family lived on Ohio St. near Clark St.

Charles died 2 October 1895 and Catherine died 3 January 1927. Charles is buried in Rosehill Cemetery. Catherine's place of interment is unknown.
