Wilhelmine Beste was born in Oerlinghausen, Lippe, Germany on 13 Jul 1851. She settled in Chicago in 1870. She married her husband Charles M. Elson on 27 June 1872 in Chicago, IL. He was born 5 Feb 1841 in Sweden and died 9 Feb 1895. Wilhelmine died 18 Apr 1904. She and Charles are buried in Rosehill Cemetery, Chicago.
