Hathaway Residence

Amos Wilbur Hathaway was born in Providence, Rhode Island on 28 May 1839. By 1856 he had settled in Chicago where he married Rosalia C. Russell on 4 June 1863. Rosalia was born 10 august 1842 in Simsburg, Connecticut. In 1870, the family lived at 250 Clybourn Ave. (now 1543 N. Clark).

Rosalia died on 10 February 1893 and Amos on 17 September 1921. They are both buried in Rosehill Cemetery in Chicago.
