Meyer Residence

Charles G. Meyer was born 23 September 1818 in Berg, Prussia. He settled in Chicago in 1845, where, on 14 May 1849 he married Barbara Ungerich of Ebernburg, Bavaria. Barbara was born 20 Mar 1849. The Meyer family lived at what is now 1309 N. Clybourn.

Barbara died in March of 1877 and Charles soon after on 7 October 1878. Charles is buried in Wunders Cemetery and it is thought that Barbara is probably buried there as well.
