Kriebs Residence

John Kriebs was born 1 July 1821 in Osann, Prussia. He married Catherine Wenz on 21 October 1847 in St. Nicholas Church in New York. Catherine was born 15 March 1825 in Mittelheim, Nassau, Germany.

The family settled in Chicago by 1855 where they are first found at 129 Edina St. (now 711 S. Plymouth Ct.).

John died 11 November 1878 and Catherine on 21 June, 1871. They are both buried in St. Boniface Cemetery in Chicago.
