St. Joseph Provident Orphanage; for the care of younger dependent boys; boys from St. Joseph's Orphan Asylum transferred to this institution; staffed by Sisters of St. Joseph from Carondelet, Missouri. Closed in 1911 and younger boys transfered to St. Mary's Training School.

Grandfather's name William M. Harrington birth 12/16/1907 orphaned about 1911after the passing of his biological mother, either Sophie Harrington or Katherine Harrington by widowed father William M. Harrington. Biological brother, Walter Harrington and spouse Ella Harrington.
