According to the Chicago Tribune, 7/27/1896, p. 5, the architect was William Klewer.

This church is where many family celebrations occurred, weddings, graduations, grandparents 50th wedding anniversary and more. I will be visiting Lithuania shortly and would like to see the new home(s) of some of St George. Oh the memories but the sadness of the loss of this beautiful church. Any help is appreciated. Thank you
