Vitous Residence

Josef Vitous was born 12 February 1830 in Stupno, Plzen Bohemia. He married Josefa Sasek born June 1834 also in Stupno. By 1867, Josef, Josefa and their family settled in Chicago. In 1871 they were living on Rebecca St. (now 15th Pl.) between Ashland Ave, and Paulina St.

Josef died 26 January 1893 and Josefa died on 21 August 1905. Both are buried in Bohemian National Cemetery in Chicago.
