Soergel Residence

Johann Albrecht Soergel was born 8 October 1816 in Bavern, Germany. He married Minna Hermerding from Hannover on 31 May 1842 in Chicago. By 1866 the family lived at 44 H Hastings (now near 1238 W. Hastings St.).

Johann died 8 January 1915 in South Haven, Michigan. Minna predeceased him on 21 April 1880 in Chicago. Both of them are buried in Wunders Cemetery in Chicago.
